The future is bright, the future is???

I had a great planning session today. We were focused
on the business plan for 2010, what the market needs
and what would be a compelling offer. Combining real
estate with technology and grounding the blue sky
ideas with the reality of being a real estate
investor.
Too many residential investors want to be investors rather than real business owners. Managing a property portfolio really is closer to running a business where the assets are illiquid. The assets that produce the product that the business sells, the properties that provide space for the tenants, are unlike the assets most business need the assets for a real estate business tend to go up over time if you hold them long enough.
More to come in later updates.
Any ideas for what would make it easier for you to invest or run your ‘business’?
