I keep hearing that Apple will be making some major announcements including the next generation iPhone. 3G support so the phones are competitive with other product offerings in the mobile handset market outside the US seems to be top of the list. New partnerships in specific countries where the device is not presently supported is another angle.

What are you hearing?

Steve rarely lets the full story out before an announcement. Not his style. He likes to impress people and he normally pulls it off.
